Our mobile network coverage is expanding nationwide

Planned from early next year, we’re doubling our mobile network so you can do more of what you love. On our new TPG network, you’ll be able to stay connected on the move with confidence in more places than ever before. Don’t just take our word for it, here are some solid facts:

What is the new regional network and how will it affect me?

Once implemented, our new regional network will cover 98.4 per cent of the Australian population. You will immediately have access to nearly one million square kilometres of coverage, including 5G on selected plans in areas where it is already available.

When will the new regional network be available?

We are aiming to turn the new network on in early 2025. We look forward to providing additional information for customers about the regional network later in the year.

Is my area covered?

Once implemented, TPG's mobile network will cover 98.4 per cent of the Australian population. We have yet to confirm the individual geographic areas to be covered. We look forward to providing additional information about the regional network later in the year.

Do I have to do anything to my phone or plan to get access to the regional network?

No. Once the regional network is implemented, our mobile customers will immediately have access to nearly one million square kilometres of coverage, including 5G on selected plans and compatible devices in areas where it is already available.

Will I be able to use 5G immediately?

Once the regional network is implemented, our mobile customers who are on 5G enabled plans will immediately have access to areas where 5G is already available and the 5G coverage will continue to grow as more sites are upgraded.

Will you be increasing prices because of the new regional network?

We do not have plans to increase mobile prices because of the regional network arrangement.
